Bones can be weakened by some treatments for prostate cancer
Having your bones weakened as a result of hormone therapy for cancer or because cancer has spread to the bone is a serious matter. However, knowing that bone complications are present can be tricky because it may be a progressive condition that may not be apparent. Pain can indicate a fracture or that your spinal cord has been compressed, so that is a good indicator that bone complications are present. These complications can be treated to help stave off potential consequences.
